So, where did it all start for us?

The early days

It all started in 1990. The creation of husband and wife team Paul and Susanne Fletcher, the business was originally named AAA so that it would be listed first in the Yellow Pages!

Three years later and we renamed the company 1st Access, the brand our customers are familiar with today. We’re still family-owned as we were in the ‘90s, but instead of being run by a team of two, we now have 14 employees helping to steer the ship.

We’ve expanded our offering over the years too, branching out into document archiving and growing our range of storage units and containers.

The fact that we still have loyal customers who’ve been with us for over two decades is testament to the level of service we offer. Not only do we provide a great service, our team is friendly, approachable and always happy to help.

More recently, we partnered with Reads Removals, a local firm with a shining reputation for home and office removals – and nearly 100 years’ experience in the industry. This allows us to offer a complete, start to finish service: we can arrange for your items to be moved in and out of your unit when you like!
